Philosophy
My goal as a coach is to help people become faster, stronger cyclists as quickly as possible with the use of the latest proven training techniques that have been tried over time by some of the best cyclists in the world. While doing this, not only do I provide guidance as to what to do, but the reasons why as well. I promote the understanding of one's body and maximizing every pedal stroke and breath one takes on the bike while under my guidance.
A high level of communication and trust between the athlete and their
coach is necessary to establish a close relationship and understanding of
each other. This understanding is my first objective when taking on a new
client. I believe that training and competition isn't just about what one does
on the bike; it's the attitude and personality that really determines a
cyclist's success.

I believe that sports teaches a person more than just skills or information
about one's body; it teaches things that can't be learned in schools or from a
book, or any other experience. One learns things about himself that only
sports can bring out... Competitiveness, defeat, triumph, a whole world of
self discipline, planning to achieve goals... and more. A good coach helps an
athlete realize these things about themselves and guides them through the
hard parts, and makes sure that they become better people and athletes
from their experiences as well.
